Library Opening
We had the official opening of our new school library on Wednesday 26th of October. The story teller Liam Farrell cut the ribbon. He engaged the children in stories about the Three Little Pigs from the perspective of the Big Bad Wolf. The children had a great day. Thanks to all who helped make our library such a wonderful place! Ms. Mc Guinness, Ms. Smith and Ms. Toner undertook to set up the library. They got lots of help from the school caretaker Adrian Muckian and our Special Needs Assistants Noeleen Gernon and Anne Carroll. Lorraine Higgins painted the beautiful murals on the walls of all the book characters. Thanks to the parents committee for helping to fund new books, games and comfortable cushions! The children also raised E212.30 by taking part in a sponsored games day. Well done to everyone.
