Friendship Day

Friendship Day
On Wednesday 1st June we celebrated Friendship Day in our school. Mrs. Vallely and the children in her class sold friendship bracelets which raised money for Amnesty International. Throughout the school we undertook lots of different activities to promote an atmosphere of sharing, caring, honesty and friendship among the children. The children in Junior and Senior Infants and some of 1st class ate their lunch together in the "Friendship Cafe". They also designed beautiful friendship cards for their friends to bring home. It was a very enjoyable and worthwhile day.
